“PLANET B-BOY” Video Submissions
PLANET B-BOY is a film about b-boys and b-girls around the world. We would love to represent your country in our film, and we are looking for short clips to go at the end of the film.
We want your video footage showing just how far and wide b-boying has spread. The clips we choose will appear in our movie which features crews from Japan, France, the US and Korea.
FILMING HINTS:
We’re looking for “landmark” shots from all corners of the globe where we weren’t able to get to but wished we could. Check our PLANET B-BOY trailers on youtube for examples.

Be creative and think about what spots your country is famous for, like the Great Wall in China, the pyramids in Egypt, the Australian Outback. Something that visually reflects your country. The main goal is to show diversity and b-boys/b-girls from all over the globe.
Steady tripod shots are preferred. Shots should be framed so that we can clearly see both the dancer(s) and the background.
If chosen, you will have to sign a release saying you own all rights to the footage. This is to protect you as well as ourselves. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer compensation for your submissions, due to the fact that we are an independent film. The video submissions will be used for a quick montage during the end credits, so the videos don't have to be too long (1 minute is plenty).
If your interested, here's HOW TO ENTER:
1) When you shoot your video, please shoot in widescreen format (aspect ratio 16:9). Tripod or steady shots preferred. NTSC tape format preferred but not required.
2) Upload your clip to be reviewed.
3) Email us the link to your video, along with your full name and email address to myvideo@planetbboy.com
4) If we choose your clip, we’ll ask for a copy of your master and your signed release, stating you give us the right to use your footage as part of the film (we will end up using 5-10 seconds of your submission)
5) Deadline for submission: April, 2007.
